That same day, Noah mobilized all his resources and brought in the most renowned doctors from around the world to perform a skin graft on me.
But the moment I stepped out of the operating room, I saw Cedric, kneeling at the doorway.
In just two days, his hair had already turned completely white.
He lunged toward me with a mix of excitement and relief, but when he noticed the bandages covering my face, he froze.
