Daniel Lewis was wrapped up in bandages from head to toe. He didn’t need cleaning or much care anymore. All Maria Lewis could really do was sit by his side and stare at him. When boredom kicked in, she’d stretch her legs in the hallway or lean against the window to zone out at the scenery.
