Chapter 107
"Alexandra, stop right there." Lillian stormed over, blocking her path.
Evelyn frowned slightly and looked over at Alexandra.
Alexandra's gaze was icy. "Lillian, go home."
Lillian held her chin high. "Sure, I'll leave—after you face me in a match."
Alexandra clearly had no intention of playing along.
Seeing this, Lillian reached out, trying to grab her, but Alexandra quickly sidestepped.
At the same time, Evelyn stepped in front of Alexandra, shielding her, eyes cold as she stared down Lillian.
"Evelyn, this has nothing to do with you. Move." Lillian glared angrily at her.
This was Thornton family business. Evelyn, an outsider, had no say here.
Evelyn let out a bit of a scoff. "If you're gonna throw a tantrum, save it for your family dinner. No one's entertaining you here."
That only pissed Lillian off even more.
Julian strolled over casually, hands in his pockets, wordlessly coming to stand beside Evelyn. The atmosphere shifted, and Lillian could feel the pressure sink in around her.
