The door to the supply room opened inward.
Instinctively, Alexandra backed up.
But the door didn't budge.
She'd pulled too hard in a rush, and it didn't move at first. The resistance caught her off guard, and as she stumbled backward, it suddenly swung open again.

The crash must've hit some stuff in the room too, because the noise was loud.
Both of them froze, eyes wide in disbelief, staring at each other.
Alexandra looked just as shocked as he was—maybe more so.
She could clearly feel his lips against hers.
Their lips were entirely pressed together.
