Evelyn couldn't help but find Julian a bit adorable as he put on his pitiful act in front of her.
She reached out and patted his head like she was soothing a spoiled cat. "Alright, fine. You can stay."
For some reason, she just didn't have it in her to turn him down right now.
Julian narrowed his eyes slightly and leaned into her palm, like a puppy seeking comfort.

"What do you think? He agreed to the marriage, but when he couldn't keep his woman, he blamed everyone else instead. Total coward." Evelyn's voice was all contempt
