From the corner of my eye, I caught sight of Nick casually lifting the three unconscious bodies as if they weighed nothing at all.
Von—who had been in his wolf form earlier—had already shifted back into his humanoid state and was completely passed out.
When our gazes met, Nick simply nodded once before dragging the three of them toward the basement. Moments later, the heavy clang of chains echoed upward.
Arnold shook his head. “It’s nothing, Luna. I’ll send the reports later regarding the poison I formulated—along with its antidote.”
The corner of my lips curved upward.

It would be useful against the Montero family. Though, from what I had observed through Claude, the Monteros likely possessed high tolerance to toxins.
Still, their subordinates wouldn’t.
