Xander finally lifted his gaze towards Eliza after signing the last document. She had been standing there for an hour, her patience exceeding his expectations. Secretary Nina took the document, shot an apologetic glance at Eliza, and walked out. "Where's the coffee?" Xander shot her a glance, continuing to peruse another plan he'd pulled towards him. "Are you the president of XS?" Eliza asked, barely containing her patience. "Yes, any issues?" Xander didn't lift his gaze, his eyes quickly scanning the pages full of characters. "What exactly are you trying to do? Why did you ask me to come here?" Eliza repressed her anger, trying to keep her voice steady. "You have quite the tolerance today!" Xander, a slight smile tugged at the corner of his lips, looked up at her, and said leisurely: "Because I need a secretary, and you're quite suitable." "Do you harbor ulterior motives?
