Chapter 11
Third Person POV
Juliette's performance was broadcast by all major media outlets. What she didn't know was that, inside his prison cell, Christopher was staring fixedly at the screen. 
On the screen, Juliette was bathed in light, more radiant than ever.
As her dance ended, she looked into the camera, her eyes bright and passionate, just as she had so often looked at him in the past.
His heart pounded wildly. For a moment, he forgot where he was, as if he and Juliette had been transported back to the past. 
But then the camera panned, and he saw the equally brilliant man. It was only then that he realized that it wasn't himself Juliette was looking at. Instead, she was looking at another man. She had long since given her love to someone else. 
A sudden epiphany dawned on him—he had lost her. 
He had lost her a long, long time ago.
