Leona's POV:
Following the address Viktor had given me, I took a taxi to a private club tucked away in the bustling district of Ashcove. There were no flashy neon signs, just a heavy blackwood door flanked by tall, imposing bodyguards.
After giving Viktor's name, I was courteously shown inside. The space was far more elegant than I had imagined, exuding subtle, understated luxury at every turn.
Viktor was already waiting for me in a secluded booth. He lounged on the couch with his legs crossed, idly swirling a glass of wine.
The moment he saw me, his face lit up, and he waved. "Over here, Leona!"
"Sorry to keep you waiting," I said as I walked over and took a seat across from him.
"You could say I came early," he replied with a lazy smile.
He snapped his fingers, and a waiter appeared. Viktor didn't place an order. Instead, he said, "I want to introduce you to someone."
