|| Lilac's POV ||
Alexander led me to a small room at the end of the corridor, its door carved with intricate patterns. He opened it, revealing a cozy space filled with plush furniture and soft lighting.
“Here,” he said, his voice gentle as he handed me a dress. “This should fit you. You can change in here.”
I took the dress, my fingers brushing against the soft fabric. It was simple but elegant, the deep blue color complimenting my skin.
“Thank you,” I said, my voice sincere. “You didn’t have to do this.”
Alexander shrugged, a small smile playing on his lips. “Consider it a gesture of goodwill. Besides, I couldn’t let you wander around smelling like a bar.”
I chuckled, the sound light and genuine. “Fair point.”
He hesitated for a moment, his expression turning serious. “Lilac, can I ask you something?”
I nodded, my curiosity piqued. “Of course.”
“Are you okay?” he asked, his eyes searching mine. “I mean, I saw what happened. You were staring at Kael when you bumped into the omega.”
