Leslie chuckled, shook her head slightly, then grabbed another cup and brewed some tea for Grandpa Walter, handing it over with a soft smile.
"Here you go, Grandpa."
Hearing the voices, Grandma Matilda snapped out of her thoughts and glanced at her cup - it was already half gone.
If it weren't still a bit hot, she might've chugged it all in one go.
Grandpa Walter took a sip and his eyes lit up immediately. After another quick gulp, he burst out laughing.
"Wow, this is really good! Leslie, where did you get this tea from? Can you give Grandpa some? Or hey, I don't mind paying for it."
Grandma Matilda scoffed awkwardly. "What's so special about it? I only drank half 'cause I was thirsty, that's all."
Leslie smiled lightly. "If you like it, Grandpa, I'll make a special batch just for you later."
She had made this tea herself by drying a mix of flowers and herbs from the manor's garden.
