Leslie finally let go, clearly exhausted from the scuffle.
Miles burst into loud sobs.
A grown man-no, a grown boy-crying like his world just ended? Yeah, not a great look.
"Leslie, I'm telling my brother! You're so done!" Miles shouted.
Leslie gave a sudden cold laugh, casually swinging that cloth strip in her hand like a whip. The way it snapped made Miles' legs feel like jelly all over again.
"Oh? Gonna tell Broderick? I wonder who he'll blame-me or you?"
She stepped in closer with every word. Miles' knees almost gave out.
She looked gorgeous, sure-but in that moment, Miles swore she was like some demon ready to devour him whole.
He gulped hard, confused.
Why did it feel like Leslie's aura was just as intense as his big brother's?
The servants standing nearby were obviously shaken too.
They'd seen her lash out before, but never thought she'd go so far as to hit Miles.
