Morton quickly stepped to my side. "Mr. Palmer, are you alright?"

"Are they your friends?" I asked.
Morton chuckled and shook his head. "No, they're not my friends. They're my juniors—seniors at Tech College. Pretty well-known on campus, too. Not many people are bold enough to mess with them. When it comes to dealing with students from Tech College, it's best to let them handle their own."
I chuckled and nodded in response, "You got here pretty quickly."
"I was actually at Tech College, scouting for senior-year interns for our company. Riverstone Tavern just happens to be close by."
