“Mom, just let Uncle Noah drive us to the studio. It’s more convenient,” Hannah said as she looked up at Olivia.
Olivia glanced at me briefly, clearly reluctant, but Hannah kept insisting. In the end, she had no choice but to agree.
The ride to the studio was quiet.
Olivia sat beside Hannah in the back seat and barely spoke during the entire drive. It was mostly Hannah and me talking while Olivia remained silent.
Fortunately, the studio was not far from their house. The drive only took about fifteen minutes.
Soon, I pulled the car into a parking space in front of Little Star Photography Studio.
Olivia unbuckled Hannah’s seatbelt, and the two of them stepped out of the car.
“Come on, Hannah,” Olivia said softly.
They walked toward the studio entrance together and disappeared through the glass door.
I remained in the driver’s seat.
