Chapter 19
Sara was worried. Her children were taking too long. Although Cameron had gone with Nora to the restroom, he was still just a young boy who wasn't even four years old.
Just as she pulled out her phone and was about to call him, she saw both of them walking over hand in hand from afar.
When they stood in front of her, she said, "You guys are back at last. What took you so long? I was about to give Cam a call."
"Mom, you're worrying over nothing. Cam is smart. There's no way we would follow some strangers."
Sara looked at her kids helplessly. They had been quirky and clever for as long as she could remember, and they hadn't given her a reason to be worried.
