They went to tour the house, but the tour ended quickly. Nora mainly wanted to play on the swing in the backyard, so Spencer stayed with her. Oswin, hearing that Cameron could play chess, dragged him into a game with him.
Seeing that both children were happily occupied and had someone to keep them company, Sara made her way upstairs to the room she used to share with Spencer. The room was spotless, and from what Bruce had said, it seemed Spencer hadn't stayed here in a long time, either.

Over the years, between raising two children, designing, and earning a living, she had rarely found such a leisurely moment to simply sit down and read a book. Lost in the pages, she became completely absorbed.
