Chapter 95
Since the two kids weren't home, Sara stayed at the studio until the afternoon. She wondered how long Wanda planned to keep them out, if they had gone home yet, and whether they would be eating dinner at home.
Thinking about all this, Sara took out her phone and called Cameron.
"Cam, where are you guys?" It was noisy on the other end of the line, and Sara could barely make out his voice. "Cam, find a quieter spot to talk. It's too noisy there—I can't hear you."
After a while, Cameron's voice came through. "Mom, we're still at the arcade with Aunt Wanda. She's playing the claw machine with Nora. She's really good! We've won so many toys!"
"Are you coming home for dinner tonight?"
"Let me go ask Aunt Wanda," Cameron said and probably ran off again, because the background noise picked up. After a few minutes, things quieted down, and he spoke through his phone watch. "Mom, Aunt Wanda said we'll eat out and then go home. So, you don't have to prepare dinner for us."
"Alright. Be good
