Parker held Edith in his arms, but his mind couldn't help but drift back to Cornelia at that time.
He didn't know how Cornelia managed to be so determined. Even though she didn't like sports, every time she took a long journey to see him, she always looked so happy.
Her face was flushed red, and there were even beads of sweat, but her eyes were unusually bright, so bright they seemed almost scorching.
