"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Fuller. I'm Theodore Bailey." Theodore reached out to shake Gideon's hand.
Gideon shook his hand back and squeezed hard.
Nancy watched them stand there in silence—still gripping each other's hands—and frowned almost imperceptibly.
Was there really a need to shake hands this long?
A few seconds later, sweat beaded at Theodore's hairline.

A shadow crossed Theodore's eyes. He quietly slid the small blue box back into his pocket.
"Ms. Moore, I'll get going now. Thank you for taking care of everything for me these past few days. You should head home early. There's no need to see me off."
