Nancy didn't realize Gideon had been sidelined until the meal was almost over. Looking at him apologetically, she said, "I'm so sorry! We shouldn't have talked about work the whole time."
"Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Fuller. This is all my fault," Mason chimed in, taking all the blame. He looked guilty as he continued, "I was just too eager to show Ms. Nancy my work. Let's stop talking about work now."
Gideon nodded, his gaze gentle as ever when he looked at Nancy. "Darling, are you full?"
"Pretty much. Let's get ready to go."
After they had eaten their fill, they went to the airport and flew back to Boraska in Gideon's private jet. As soon as they landed, Gideon was about to offer to drive Nancy home when Mason piped up. "I've already arranged a driver, Ms. Nancy. I'll take you home."
Nancy glanced at Gideon. "I'll be on my way then. You should also go home and get some rest."
