When Valeria turned her head, she caught sight of the veins bulging along Sebastian's neck. They collapsed onto the couch. He slid his fingers through her dark hair and gripped the back of her head, while the other hand held onto her waist and pulled her into his arms. Valeria felt completely powerless. She couldn't move an inch at all. She pushed against Sebastian's chest, but it felt astonishingly firm. She had no idea how he trained to get that way. So she bit his lip hard instead. Sebastian did pause for a moment. The two of them were inches apart, and their eyes locked. His gaze was dark and unreadable, and the sight of it made her heart clench. But the pause only lasted a few seconds. His kiss grew rougher and more intense. He didn't seem to feel pain at all. Instead, the sting on his lip seemed to excite him even more.
