Teresa's tone was gentle, and there wasn't any sign of agitation on her face.
For a brief moment, Rosalie was somewhat dazed. It was as though her perfect mother had returned.
Not at all bothered to hide her true feelings, she replied, "Yeah, I want to go back."
Teresa laughed before saying in an even gentler voice, "Then pack your things. I'll send you back."
The way Teresa had so readily agreed didn't sit right with Rosalie, leaving her feeling rather upset. "But Daddy says—"
Before she could finish, Teresa hurriedly interrupted her. "If you want to go home that much, I can take you."
Since staying here was so uncomfortable for Rosalie, there was no need for Teresa to force things. Besides, the Suttons already got to meet the girl, so she didn't need to come here again in the future.
Seeing that Teresa was actually serious, Rosalie agreed, albeit uneasily, "Okay."
Teresa patted her head. "Then get packing."
