Chapter 61 I Think I Like You
I stared at him, completely baffled by what Dominic Hawthorne was really up to. Naively, I believed he'd leave after dinner, so I quietly cooked and called him to eat.
The dining table in this room was round. After Dominic sat down, he patted the chair beside him and said, "Sit here."
I hesitated, then sat down. All I wanted was to keep him satisfied and wait for him to go. I sat to the side, watching Dominic eat. One bowl. Two bowls. When he asked for a third, I gently asked, "Do you usually eat this much for dinner now?"
