Aurora I froze in shock as my mother's words played in my head for the third time. My brows twisted in confusion and worry settled in the pit of my stomach as I threw her a questionable look. The more I thought about it, the less I understood what she meant. Did she just say she would confess? What was that supposed to mean? When I thought my father was just exaggerating about my fur colour, her words confirmed it. Perhaps, I was taking her words too far. She didn't mean it that way.
