Callie smiled but didn't say anything, clearly not agreeing.
Since it was on his way, Isaac drove her home. Regan sat in the front seat, unusually quiet.
Callie had a feeling that Regan was a bit scared of Isaac.
"Callie, thanks for looking after Regan lately. She used to be a pampered lady with no work experience. It's been a hassle for you," Isaac said, glancing at the rearview mirror.
