My legs were heavy as I walked, and it wasn't even up to two hours. My wolf wasn't listening to me, neither did she care to help me. Walking down the lonely road filled with rows of trees, the hot sun beat down on my half-exposed skin. My body was already covered with sweat, and the thin yellow gown I wore stuck to my body like a second skin.
I assessed my body, and a small smile lit up my face. I was looking a lot better than I did a few weeks ago. My skin had lost the dry patches on it and was becoming vibrant, it even glistened under the sun. My pride did not last for long as I heard the squealing of tires behind me. A car was coming.
A streak of hope lit up in me and I started waving madly at the incoming car. At this rate, I wouldn't be able to find my way anywhere, and I didn't even know where I was. The red flashy car screeched to a halt in front of me, and I breathed out a sigh of relief. Hope.
