86. ANGEL
I frowned as the dream started to fade. I wanted to cling to it because I knew as soon as I woke up fully, I wouldn’t be able to remember it. It was important, more like a memory than an actual dream.
The mattress at my back dipped and the sheets tugged a little lower over my shoulders.
Moaning, I gripped it and pulled it up to my chin again.
There was a low chuckle from in front of me.
“You’re not a morning person, are you?” Nate muttered.
I sighed as I rolled onto my back. It felt like I hadn’t slept even though I went to bed early last night.
The sheets were suddenly jerked down my body.
My eyes fluttered open to find Nate’s face hovering over mine. I glared at him, making his smile widen.
Placing a hand on my stomach, he lowered his face and captured my lips in a slow kiss. I reached up to grip the back of his neck. There was a low groan from somewhere in the room.
