Chapter 50

　　Serena's POV. 　　My first instinct was to run the car over Penny, but I knew it would cause more harm and I wasn't ready for that. My eyes darted around, and I swallowed hard. 　　One of them knocked on my window, and my eyes snapped to the window. The woman pressed her face against the glass, her voice menacing. 　　"Get the fuck out!" she yelled. 　　I didn't respond, frozen in fear. I knew stepping out would put me in danger, and my life wasn't something I was willing to gamble with. 　　Before I could react, a loud shattering sound filled the air.
