Chapter 56

　　Serena's POV. 　　I woke up to find it was already evening. I yawned, surprised I'd slept so long. Actually, it worked out well – I'd have plenty of time to create and edit the video without any interruptions. 　　I trudged to the bathroom and took a shower. Just as I stepped out, there was a knock at the door. 　　"Hold on," I said, quickly dropping the towel I’d used to dry my hair. 　　I peeked through the peephole and saw Ross standing there. I opened the door, and he asked, "What's wrong? I've been calling you, and you haven't picked up." 　　He looked worried. 　　"Oh, I didn't know," I replied, heading to grab my phone. I was shocked to see multiple missed calls from him and Richard. 　　"Sorry, my phone was on silent," I explained. He let out a sigh of relief. 　　"You had us worried," Ross said, pulling me into a tight hug. His words touched my heart. 　　I felt grateful to have people who genuinely cared about me. I wished my mom could see this moment. I blinked back tears, trying to hold th
