The gallery was abuzz with activity that morning. New artwork had arrived, and we were in the midst of setting up a new exhibit. I was bustling around, directing the staff, when a sharp pain suddenly pierced my lower abdomen. I paused, gripping the edge of a table to steady myself.
"Are you okay, Lily?" one of the staff members, Sarah, asked, her face etched with concern.
