Chapter 19: Heartbroken
Leah Hayden sat in the garden all by herself. The garden was small but something perfect for a couple. There are two gardens in the mansion but this one is usually where Leah stays, when she wants to be alone.
The garden had a canopy tree in the middle. The leaves and branches of the tree created a shadow. The floor was Covered with green carpet grass.
Few tables and chairs were placed in a circular motion. A wall of flowers was used as the demarcation between the garden and the outer plantation.
A small wooden gate was used as the entrance and exit from the garden. The cool breeze from the garden was capable of making someone dozed off within a few minutes after being seated.
That was where Leah sat, looking out, waiting to hear the news that Pamela had been found. Even the police hadn't been able to provide a positive response in two days.
