"I heard you might wake up soon, so I brought your granddaughter to see you. This is my daughter. Look at her." Catherine's voice became choked up. She wasn't a good daughter. It had been two years since she had come to the hospital to visit Nancy. Cleo, who was in her arms, saw Catherine's tears and wanted to ask what was wrong, but she didn't know how to say it.
