#Chapter 70: The Dream Life
Needless to say, I didn’t sleep at all Sunday night.
Even with a whole weekend to recover from the embarrassment that was Friday night at Chickadee’s, I still felt way too nervous to face Logan that day.
I stared into my closet. Basically all of my clothes were on the conservative side, but I felt like I would not be able to wear enough clothing today. I’d still feel like Logan would still be able to see right through them.
I opted for a pantsuit and put on my biggest pair of granny panties underneath. I layered up on top with my most padded bra, a camisole, a blouse, then the jacket that went with the pants. I usually left the buttons undone when I wore that jacket, but today I completely buttoned it up. I pulled my hair into a bun and opted for glasses over contacts. I was hoping to be as unnoticeable as humanly possible.
Once I had applied just a little bit of foundation and mascara, I took a look at myself in the mirror. I felt
