After dinner at Bella’s house, we sat and chatted for a while before Alexander drove me back to the hotel. He had to rush back to New York that night. I stayed at the hotel for one night, and the next day, I headed to the airport and flew back to Virellia City. The vacation was over. I didn’t notify James, but I let Gabriella know, asking her to take a cab to the airport to pick me up. After getting off the plane, I met Gabriella, and we went straight to the hospital for my prenatal check-up. I was already fourteen weeks pregnant, and the ultrasound showed that the baby had started to take shape. The doctor pointed at the screen for both Gabriella and me to see. “This is the baby’s hand, here’s the foot, and this is the head. The eyes and nose are hard to distinguish at this stage, but everything looks healthy, and the baby is developing well.” Gabriella smiled cheerfully. When the check-up was over and I was leaving the examination room, the doctor gave me some advice.
