Manfred smiled at Vivian and asked, "How about we go for a walk to help with digestion?"
Vivian nodded eagerly. "I need to walk off this fullness. I'm stuffed."

If being head of the Atkinson family meant keeping his distance from Vivian, the title held no meaning for him.
Vivian's eyes glinted with thought. "If I stay longer this time, maybe others will see me too. That might clear up some misunderstandings."
When Manfred heard that she might stay longer, his eyes sparkled with anticipation. "Really? You can stay longer?"
"I think so," Vivian replied, though uncertainty lingered in her voice. Last time, she managed only two or three days. This time, she felt it might be more.
