Carol’s POV I walked out of the bathroom; I was dressed for training in a workout tank top and a pair of yoga pants. I towel-dried my hair which was still wet from my morning shower before throwing the towel in the hamper. My phone was plugged into the charger on my nightstand and when it flashed to life, I saw that there was a text message from Aiden sitting on the screen. I swiped the screen and brought up the message, smiling at his words. Aiden: Plane just landed; I’ll be seeing you soon. My heart swelled at his words, and I pressed the button to reply. Me: I can’t wait to see you. I’ll be in training, but you can get settled into the suite and we will see each other after I’m done.
