Chapter 324 Sanctuary At a left-hand turn, Samantha Lane noticed the cars behind them. She had a feeling they'd been tailing them since the last turn. She wasn’t totally sure if she was overthinking it, but she still told Elaine Foster, “Ms. Foster, I think that car behind us is following.” Elaine had seen it too. She deliberately turned right at the intersection instead of going left like they were supposed to. The car behind them struggled with the sudden lane change but still managed to follow. “Looks like there’s more than one.” Elaine’s tone was certain now. She guessed at least two cars were tailing them. Samantha’s voice was a little anxious: “What do you think they want?” Elaine shook her head slightly. “No idea. But we can’t let them catch up, that’s for sure.” There were probably ten or more people in those cars. Just the two of them? No way they stood a chance. Elaine might be able to take down a couple of them, but Samantha? Honestly, probably none. “Seatbelt’s on?” Elaine
