Henry looked down, then answered softly, "It wasn't a malicious attack."
"The hacker actually fixed some of our network's security holes. Even added a few extra firewalls."
Even though it sounded like good news, the fact still remained — their system got breached again. So as Henry explained, he still didn't sound all that confident.
Marcus didn't respond right away. His face darkened, and he sank into silence. Henry noticed the leftover food on the coffee table, still untouched. He didn't know when it was from, but cleaning up the CEO's office was still part of his job. So, cautiously, he asked, "Sir, should I take this out?"
"Have someone check if there are any traces of drugs in it," Marcus instructed.
Wait, what? Drugs?
Henry blinked, clearly confused. He glanced at the food again but decided not to ask. "Roger that."
Elaine was waiting just outside the office. As soon as she saw Henry walking out with the food box in his hand, she froze, then quickly followed behind.
