I stir awake sometime later near dawn, and then my beating heart calms when I see Drexon still lying in bed, lifeless. I place my hand on my beating chest, hoping my action would calm it down. I had been so scared that it had somehow found a way to seep into my dreams. I was chasing Drexon, but no matter how many times I stretched out my hand to catch him, he seemed further than I thought, and I kept on hearing Maljore's taunting voice.
"He can never truly be yours."
