Magnus yawned and mumbled, "Just tell Ced to give me some time off. I'm exhausted because he's working me to death."
Noelle burst out laughing. "If you want time off, just ask him yourself."
"If asking worked, I wouldn't have had to work my ass out. Ced doesn't think of me as a human. To him, I'm probably some machine that works non-stop." His tone carried exaggerated grievance.
"I can try talking to him for you, but no promises."
