As expected, Jonathan agreed with Alicia.
He looked at her calmly and said, "It's just a matter of some additional costs. You don't need to get my approval. Go ahead and make the decisions."
Alicia broke out into a wide smile. "You're the best, Jonathan. I knew you'd agree with me. Before I came here, those secretaries were saying that you'd never waste your time on pointless things…"
I couldn't help but laugh again.
She truly was impressive. She was able to convey several messages in only a few sentences.
Firstly, she was highly capable and could handle a project on her own from start to finish. Secondly, she was kind-hearted and wasn't willing to make life difficult for those living in that township. Thirdly, Jonathan's secretaries were all cold-blooded compared to her, and they even presumed things about him.
