Chapter 42

That's our queue to get ready. Both Avery and I get up and that makes Nick and Braden get up in return. They look at us confused and I have nothing to say before the actual moment. I take off the headset from Braden's head and yell as loud as I can to him. "You have to swim back to the shore!" "What?" He yells back confused. I know he heard what I said. He just wants to believe that he couldn't hear over all this.  "I love you!" I yell to him. "I love you-" He is cut off when I kick him square in the chest out of the helicopter.  I watch as both Nick and Braden free fall down into the Pacific Ocean. After they go crashing into the water I look to Avery.  "Shall we go wait on the beach?" I just nod not having any words to say.  Finally making it to the beach I can only crawl towards where Alannis and Avery are waiting. Every part of my body feels like jelly. I'm surprised I can still move. Hell, I'm surprised
