Caesar left, leaving Nadia staring anxiously at the metal chain attached to the foot of the bed. She couldn't tell the time now, and she wondered if Theodore and his parents had noticed that she went missing. They must have been worried sick having something like this happen right before the wedding. Nadia tugged at the metal chain. She then tried walking around, the chain making a clattering sound as it dragged across the floor. It was long enough for her to move around in the room. It seemed like Caesar hadn't intended to restrict her movement in the room, but after searching for a while, she realized there was nothing in the room other than several large pieces of furniture. The windows were too high; she had to stand on tiptoes just to barely reach them. They were also sealed shut, making it impossible for them to escape from there.
