 Author’s POV.   Hazel watched him with a thumping heart.  Her body shook from the feeling that rhymed into her body.  Her heart melted, and for a minute, she could barely utter a word. She just stood and watched the ring in his hand.  Silence filled the air, and the atmosphere suddenly became tense.  “I know for a week or two now, I haven’t been the best lover. But I promise not to be that way ever again, momma. I promise to be the best lover from now on and to be by your side through our journey of life. Everything I do is for you, momma.
