Lila was shaking with fury. Before she could stop herself, she lifted her foot and brought her heel down hard on Dominic's instep. He hissed in pain and let go of her, his face darkening. "Lila, that's enough. I know you brought Oscar here just to spite me. I admit I misunderstood you before, and I'm willing to let your little tantrum slide. But my patience has limits.
