I stared at Henry with disbelief for a long while; he was being serious.
“I don’t understand,” I finally said, narrowing my eyes at him. “This wasn’t even my idea, it was Theo’s. We don’t have a choice.”
“We always have a choice, Erin. I don’t think it’s a good idea,” he said, shaking his head. “I’m putting my foot down and pulling you out of this.”
“What has gotten into you, Henry?” I asked, folding my arms across my chest. “Where have you been?”
