Chapter 46:  Eva’s Point of View Six months can change everything. Six months ago, I was lost. Broken. Afraid. Six months ago, i was in prison and left alone to die. Six months ago, I was beaten and maltreated by the inmates in prison because of the cruelty of Sara. Six months had passed since I learned I was pregnant.  Six months of worry and fear, but also some happy and hopeful moments. With my grandmother's help, I decided to leave the U.S. and move to London. I wanted a fresh start, away from everything that reminded me of my past. The day we got on the plane was full of mixed feelings. I held my grandmother's hand tightly. I felt scared and excited. The plane's engines hummed as we took off, leaving behind the painful parts of my life. Grandma smiled at me, her eyes bright and encouraging.. “You’re going to be okay, Eva,” she said, her voice calm. “This is a new beginning for both of us.” I nodded, trying to believe her. “I just want to do right by the kids,” I whispered, looking
