Cassandra squeezed the car key in her hand, emotions churning in her chest.
She'd make sure Mara learned her lesson—messing with anything that belonged to Faye had consequences.
Once she was done handling things in the repair shop, she stepped outside.
Barely out the door, a red Ferrari came flying at her.
Instinctively, Cassandra stepped back. The car jerked to a dramatic stop inches from her feet.
"Hey there, sweetheart! We meet again," Gavin stepped out with his usual charm, casually running his fingers through his brown hair before flashing a wicked, flirtatious grin.
Cassandra narrowed her eyes and pressed her lips together. "Sorry, do I know you?"
"Seriously? Just a couple days ago, you called me 'Un-cle Gavin'," Gavin grinned wider, his voice oozing amusement. "Don’t tell me you forgot already."
"Oh right. Is there something you need, Mr. Langley?" Cassandra's jaw tightened—she hadn't expected him to still be hung up on that.
