Yet the video on Jane's notebook clearly showed the elderly woman standing eerily in the shadows, her gaze fixed on Rory and Ainara. Even just watching through the screen sent chills down his spine, let alone how Rory and Ainara must have felt in person. Unable to suppress his curiosity any longer, he sidled closer to Melanie and tugged lightly at the hem of her sleeve. In a voice barely above a whisper, he murmured, "Big sis..."
