Olivia gave a bitter smile. As expected, Jasper wasn't willing to make Sage wait even a moment longer.
"One month," she said through clenched teeth. A month was actually cutting it close, but by then, the project would be more or less on track. Even if Oliver objected, it would be too late.
Seeing Jasper lower his eyes without speaking, Olivia felt her throat tighten. She couldn't help the nervousness creeping in.
"Is one month enough?" he asked calmly. "Latitude Games' goal this time is quite a huge undertaking."
Olivia clenched her hands, her nails digging into her palms until it hurt. He was probably paying this much attention to Latitude Games for Sage's sake.
She didn't know what she'd do if he used Sage's entry into Latitude Games as a bargaining chip.
"Have you decided on a partner yet?" he asked.
Thankfully, it didn't come to that.
Olivia let out a quiet breath. "That's not important."
